Washington, Aug. 29 (SANA) The US military announced the redirection of 82 commercial vessels that were heading to Iran as of August 28, as part of the implementation of the blockade on Iranian ports.
US Central Command (CENTCOM) stated in a post on the X platform on Saturday that US forces have redirected 82 commercial vessels, disabled 3 vessels, and boarded 2 ones to verify their compliance with the restrictions imposed under the blockade.
Last Thursday, the US military had announced the redirection of 75 commercial vessels that were heading to Iran as of Thursday, August 27, as part of the implementation of the blockade on Iranian ports.
