Lattakia, SANA- As a part of his tour to al-Haffa area Tuesday, Lattakia Governor, Mohammad Othman, visited Salah al-Din al-Ayyubi Citadel.
The governor inspected the parts damaged by the earthquake hit the area last year, and directed engineering staff to restore it.
He also was briefed on the history of the citadel, its cultural and historical value, and the potentials to benefit from these sites as a tourist destination.
