Damascus, March. 13 (SANA) Director of the Consular Affairs Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Mohammad al-Omar, met with Chargé d’Affaires of the Hungarian Embassy in Damascus, Soós István Gyula.
During the meeting held at the ministry’s headquarters in Damascus, the two sides discussed ways to enhance consular relations between the two countries and develop mechanisms of cooperation to serve the shared interests of their citizens, particularly investors and students.
The meeting comes following recent Syrian-Hungarian talks on enhancing economic cooperation and exploring the establishment of a joint business council aimed at strengthening trade and investment ties between the two countries.
