Three Palestinian former detainees killed in an Israeli raid on Gaza

Occupied Jerusalem, SANA- Three former prisoners deported to the Gaza Strip were killed at dawn on Thursday as a result of the ongoing Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip.

Jerusalem Governorate as saying that the former prisoner Bassam Abu Sneineh, from occupied Jerusalem, was killed as a result of an Israeli airstrike in an area of the Gaza Strip. He was one of the Jerusalemite detainees forcibly deported to Gaza by the Israeli occupation authorities in 2011.

The same sources added that former prisoners Ayman Abu Daoud and Mahdi Shawer, both from Hebron, were also killed during the violent Israeli shelling that targeted various areas of the Gaza Strip last night.

The three dead detainees are among former prisoners who spent many years in Israeli prisons and were released as part of the 2011 prisoner exchange.

They were forcibly deported to the Gaza Strip as part of the policy of collective punishment and forced exile pursued by the Israeli occupation authorities.

The Ministry of Health announced in its latest statistics that 142 citizens had been killed, including three whose bodies were recovered, and 487 others injured, over the past 24 hours.

This brings the total number of fatalities since October 7, 2023, to 57,012, and the number of injured to 134,592.
