Cairo, SANA-Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Ahmed Mohamed Abdelatty affirmed his country’s commitment to supporting the Syrian people and respecting Syria’s sovereignty, unity, and territorial integrity.
“Abdelatty met with Massad Boulos, Senior Advisor to the US President for Arab and Middle East Affairs and Senior Advisor for African Affairs, and exchanged views on a number of regional issues,” Egyptian Foreign Ministry said in a statement on Sunday.
During the meeting, Abdelatty stressed Egypt’s keenness to support the brotherly Syrian people, respected the sovereignty, unity and integrity of Syrian lands, and for Syria to be a source of stability in the region, pointing out the necessity of launching an inclusive political process that includes all components and spectrums of Syrian society to overcome this delicate stage.
