Moscow, Sept. 24 (SANA) The Russian Aerospace Forces have received a new batch of Su-57 fifth-generation multirole fighter jets with updated technical specifications, Russian state corporation Rostec said Thursday.
Russia’s Sputnik news agency quoted Rostec’s press office as saying that the United Aircraft Corporation (UAC), a subsidiary of Rostec, had delivered the new batch of aircraft to the Russian Aerospace Forces.
Rostec did not specify in the supplied statement how many aircraft were included in the latest delivery.
Earlier this month, Rostec said its fifth-generation aircraft complex had demonstrated the capabilities of the Su-57 during the flight program at the 2026 Alamein International Airshow in Egypt.
The Sept. 9 presentation included the Su-57E export variant, equipped with a new weapons system, according to Rostec.
The Su-57 is a fifth-generation multirole fighter designed with stealth and maneuverability capabilities. Rostec continues to develop the aircraft and upgrade its equipment and systems.
