New York, May.31 (SANA) Deputy Special Envoy of the UN Secretary-General for Syria, Claudio Cordone, expressed his solidarity with the family and friends of Dr. Abdul Rahman Yassin and his wife, Dr. Rania al-Abbasi, following the announcement of findings that confirmed the killing of their children in prisons operated by the deposed regime.
In a post published on the social media platform X on Sunday, Cordone said: “Following the announcement on the killing of the al-Abassi children by the former regime, I express my deepest solidarity with their relatives and friends, and with all families of the missing and victims and survivors of atrocities in Syria.”
