Capitals, May 25 (SANA) Saudi Arabia, Qatar and China condemned a deadly bombing targeting a passenger train in Pakistan’s southwestern Balochistan province, expressing solidarity with Islamabad and condolences to the victims’ families.
Saudi Arabia’s Foreign Ministry said in a statement carried by the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) that the kingdom strongly condemned the attack and reaffirmed its rejection of terrorism and extremism in all forms.
Qatar’s Foreign Ministry also condemned the bombing, reiterating Doha’s firm opposition to violence, terrorism and criminal acts regardless of motive, while extending condolences to the families of the victims.
China likewise voiced support for Pakistan following the attack. Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Mao Ning said Beijing stood in solidarity with Islamabad and offered condolences to those affected, according to the Xinhua news agency.
The statements came after an explosion struck a train carrying security personnel in Balochistan on Sunday, killing and injuring dozens, according to Pakistani media reports.
