Abu Dhabi, May 7 (SANA) UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Qatari Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani discussed regional developments and their impact on security and stability during talks in Abu Dhabi on Wednesday.

According to the Emirates News Agency (WAM), the two sides reviewed bilateral relations and ways to strengthen cooperation and coordination across several sectors in support of shared interests.

The discussions also focused on escalating regional tensions and their implications for regional and international security.

During the meeting, the Qatari foreign minister reiterated Doha’s condemnation of Iranian aggressions targeting civilians and civilian infrastructure in the UAE, reaffirming Qatar’s solidarity with Abu Dhabi and support for measures aimed at protecting the country’s sovereignty and security.

The UAE has recently reported new Iranian attacks, including incidents targeting an ADNOC oil tanker and the Fujairah oil industry zone, prompting widespread regional and international condemnation.
