Doha, May 23 (SANA) Qatar’s Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani spoke by phone on Saturday with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman to discuss regional developments and diplomatic efforts aimed at ending the U.S.-Israeli war with Iran.
According to the Qatar News Agency (QNA), the two leaders reviewed regional and international developments and exchanged views on ongoing diplomatic initiatives to de-escalate tensions and advance political solutions aimed at supporting regional stability.
They also stressed the importance of reaching lasting and comprehensive solutions that address the root causes of the crisis and help maintain long-term security and stability in the region.
The two sides additionally discussed ways to strengthen bilateral relations between Qatar and Saudi Arabia across multiple sectors.
Earlier on Saturday, Emir Tamim also held a phone call with U.S. President Donald Trump to discuss regional and international efforts aimed at promoting international peace and security.
