Beirut, April 22 (SANA) One person was killed and two others were injured on Wednesday in an Israeli airstrike targeting the western Bekaa region in Lebanon, according to the Lebanese National News Agency.
The agency said the strike targeted the outskirts of the town of Al-Jbour, resulting in one death and two injuries.
It added that Israeli forces, supported by heavy machinery, carried out road bulldozing operations in Wadi al-Slouqi, destroyed several homes in the town of Aita al-Shaab, and leveled remaining shops along the main street.
The report said buildings and mosques were also targeted in the town of Al-Khiam, alongside artillery shelling and machine-gun fire in the surroundings of Shaqra and Houla in the Marjayoun district.
Last Thursday, U.S. President Donald Trump announced an agreement on a 10-day ceasefire between Lebanon and Israel.
