Ben Gvir and Israeli settlers enter Al-Aqsa Mosque

Occupied Jerusalem, April 12 (SANA) Israeli National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir, accompanied by dozens of settlers, stormed the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound on Sunday under heavy security, amid rising tensions and Arab reactions.

According to the Palestinian news agency WAFA, Israeli forces imposed strict restrictions on Palestinian worshippers attempting to enter the site, including confiscating identity cards at the gates, while settlers carried out religious rites inside the compound.

The incident marks the second such incident in less than a week, following a similar move last Monday that drew widespread condemnation across the Arab world and warnings over potential repercussions.
