Abu Dhabi, April 3 (SANA) The United Arab Emirates’ Ministry of Defense said on Friday that its air defense systems intercepted missile and drone attacks launched from Iran.
In a statement reported by the Emirates News Agency (WAM), the ministry confirmed that its air defenses engaged ballistic missiles, drones, and other aerial threats.
The incident comes amid rising regional military tensions since February 28, linked to the ongoing conflict involving the United States, Israel, and Iran. During this period, Iran has carried out missile and drone strikes targeting multiple countries in the Gulf.
