Saudi, Kuwaiti and UAE forces intercept, destroy Iranian Missiles and Drones

Saudi, Kuwaiti and UAE forces intercept, destroy Iranian Missiles and Drones

Capitals, March 28 (SANA) Saudi, Kuwaiti and UAE forces announced the interception and destruction of a number of Iranian missiles and drones in recent hours.

Spokesperson of the Ministry of Defense Major General Turki Al-Malki stated that Saudi Arabia’s forces intercepted and destroyed a ballistic missile and three drones in the past hours.

For his part, the official spokesperson for Kuwaiti Ministry of Defense, Colonel Staff Saud Abdulaziz al-Atwan,, announced the detection and destruction of four ballistic missiles and three hostile drones within Kuwaiti airspace on Friday.

He indicated that one missile targeted the Mubarak Al-Kabeer Port, resulting in material damage with no reported human casualties.

Meanwhile, four drones targeted Mubarak Al-Kabeer Port and Al-Shuwaikh Port, also causing material damage with no injuries recorded.

The UAE Ministry of Defense announced in a statement that the UAE’s air defense systems and fighter jets responded to rocket attacks and drones comes from Iran.

The Ministry confirmed that the sounds heard today in various areas were the result of interceptions carried out by ballistic missile air defense systems against missiles, and by fighter jets against drones and cruise missiles.
