Beirut, March 13 (SANA) Several people were killed and injured Friday in Israeli airstrikes targeting multiple areas across Lebanon.
The Lebanese National News Agency reported that an Israeli warplane struck a house in Bar Elias, in the Zahle district, killing several people and injuring others. Airstrikes also hit Shaaitiyeh Road in Tyre, the village of Aba in Nabatieh, and a car in Jnah, Beirut, killing three people.
Israeli warplanes further struck the Zrariyeh Bridge over the Litani River, the area between Siddiqin and Ramadiyeh, and an ambulance on Tayr Falsay Bridge. A residential building in Al-Fawar, in the eastern suburb of Sidon, was also hit, injuring several people.
Since March 2, Israel has intensified airstrikes on Lebanon following rocket attacks by Hezbollah militia on Israeli positions.
According to the Lebanese Ministry of Health, as of March 12, the attacks have resulted in 687 deaths, including 98 children, and 1,774 injuries, including 304 children.
