Trump says US sinks nine Iranian warships in joint strikes with Israel
US President Donald Trump

Washington, Mar. 1 (SANA) US President Donald Trump said Sunday that the US military has sunk nine Iranian warships and partially destroyed the Iranian Navy headquarters since the start of joint strikes with Israel on Saturday.

Trump wrote on his platform Truth Social that nine Iranian military ships, “some large and important,” had been destroyed and sank, adding that another attack caused heavy damage to the Iranian naval headquarters.

The United States and Israel have continued military operations into a second day, reportedly targeting senior Iranian leaders, including the Supreme Leader, the Revolutionary Guard commander, the defense minister, and the chief of staff.

Iran responded with missile attacks on Israel, killing ten Israelis and injuring more than 100, and launched strikes on six Gulf countries and Jordan, causing casualties in the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, and Kuwait.

Meanwhile, the US Central Command reported three Americans killed and five seriously wounded, without specifying identities or locations.
