Bucharest, Oct. 1 (SANA) A delegation from the Syrian Embassy in Romania, headed by Chargé d’Affaires Anas al-Badawi, visited Thursday the city of Constanța as part of efforts to strengthen economic relations and develop trade between Syria and Romania.
During the visit, the delegation met with a group of Syrian businessmen, including representatives active in key sectors such as maritime transport and shipping.
The talks explored prospects for expanding trade and logistics cooperation and developing maritime links between the Syrian Arab Republic and Romania.
Particular attention was given to strengthening direct cooperation between the Port of Constanța and Syrian ports in a way that serves the two countries’ mutual economic interests.
