Ankara, Jan. 1 (SANA) Turkish authorities arrested 4 individuals as part of ongoing efforts to combat ISIS terrorist organization in Bartın Province, northern Turkey.
The Anadolu Agency reported that teams from the Anti-Terrorism Branch carried out the operation late Wednesday evening in central Bartın against four people suspected of providing financial support to the terrorist organization “ISIS.”
The Public Prosecutor’s Office announced on Wednesday that Turkish authorities arrested 28 accused of spreading ISIS propaganda on social media, with one directly involved in the group’s activities.
