Turkey: Hamas' response to Trump’s Gaza plan will enable lasting peace

Turkey welcomed the approval of the Hamas Movement to US President Donald Trump’s plan to end the war in the Gaza Strip, stressing that this approval will contribute to establishing a ceasefire in the Strip.

The response by Hamas on Trump’s plan will “enable the urgent establishment of a ceasefire in Gaza, the uninterrupted delivery of humanitarian aid to the region, and the steps needed to achieve lasting peace,” said the Foreign Ministry, According to Anadolu Agency.

It urged the parties to start negotiations to ensure an immediate ceasefire and to implement a two-state solution backed by the international community.
