Sultanate of Oman condemns Israeli attack on Qatar

Muscat, SANA – The Sultanate of Oman expressed its deep condemnation and denunciation of the brutal attack launched by Israel on Qatari territory, the crimes of political assassinations and treachery it is practicing in flagrant violation of international law, a flagrant violation of the sovereignty of states, and a dangerous escalation that threatens the security and stability of the region and distances it from the path of peace.

In a statement, the Omani Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirmed its solidarity with Qatar, its leadership, government, and people, and its support for all measures taken by the State of Qatar to confront this provocative aggression.

It called on the international community to assume its moral and political responsibilities and exercise its legal powers to deter Israel and curb its violations of the rules of security and peace in the region.
