"Share Hope... Save a Life" Initiative to Support Cancer Patients in Sweida

Sweida, SANA- A Youth Volunteer Team, in coordination with the Friends of Cancer Patients Association in Sweida, implemented an initiative to support cancer patients entitled “Share Hope… Save a Life.”

The initiative aims to provide urgent financial assistance to patients by collecting donations from those who wish to donate.

Team member Fayyad Rajab indicated that this initiative reflects a commitment to standing by patients who need more support during these difficult circumstances.

Friends of Cancer Patients Association (FOCP) Chairman in Sweida Dr. Adnan Maqlad noted that this initiative is gaining importance due to the high cost of doses, which constitute a burden on patients and their families, especially given the current unavailability of their medications in hospitals, and the presence of approximately 7,500 cancer patients in the governorate, including approximately 1,500 patients in dire need of immediate treatment.
