Geneva, SANA-Health Minister Dr. Musab al-Ali discussed with the Pakistan’s health minister Syed Mustafa Kamal,ways to enhance joint cooperation between the two countries.
During the meeting, held on the sidelines of the 78th World Health Assembly in Geneva, the two sides discussed a number of health topics, most notably medical education and the exchange of academic expertise, cooperation in the pharmaceutical industry, and the development of health systems, which would contribute to improving the quality of services provided and enhancing the efficiency of medical cadres.
The two parties stressed the importance of building on the historical relations between Syria and Pakistan to expand the horizons of health cooperation, serving the interests of the two friendly peoples.
