Damascus, Feb. 13 (SANA) – The president of Damascus University, Mustafa Saem al-Dahr, met with a delegation from the French Agency for International Technical Cooperation (Expertise France), headed by Professor Nienke van den Broek, to discuss cooperation in supporting Syria’s medical faculties and expanding training programs in key specialties.
The talks focused on developing advanced training in obstetrics and pediatric care, strengthening the practical and scientific skills of students and doctors, and enhancing technical and academic exchanges.

The two sides also reviewed plans to organize workshops and continuing professional training programs aimed at improving medical education standards and promoting best practices, with the goal of strengthening national healthcare capacity and improving health services.
