Munich, Feb. 13 (SANA) Syrian Foreign Minister Asaad Hassan al-Shaibani met with Odile Renaud-Basso, President of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), on the sidelines of the 62nd Munich Security Conference.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed prospects for strengthening economic cooperation and supporting recovery projects in Syria.
The talks came as part of al-Shaibani’s visit to Germany, where he inaugurated the Syrian consulate in Bonn on Thursday. The visit also includes his participation in the Munich Security Conference, which runs from February 13 to 15.
The conference brings together nearly 50 heads of state and government, alongside hundreds of decision-makers and opinion leaders from around the world.
