Economy and Industry Ministry licenses 345 industrial facilities in Q1 of current year

Economy and Industry Ministry licenses 345 industrial facilities in Q1 of current year

Damascus, SANA-The Ministry of Economy and Industry has announced the issuance of industrial licenses for 345 facilities across various sectors during the first quarter of the current year. These facilities are projected to create 4,242 job opportunities upon commencement of operations.

According to the ministry’s official Telegram channel, the licensed projects include 76 food processing facilities, expected to generate 887 jobs; 111 chemical facilities, anticipated to provide 911 jobs; 94 textile facilities, with a projected creation of 2,068 jobs; and an additional 64 engineering facilities, expected to offer 376 employment opportunities.
