Idlib, July 4 ( SANA) Syria’ s Minister of Economy and Industry, Mohammad Nidal Al-Shaar, met on Saturday representatives of traders and industrialists in Idlib Governorate, in the presence of Governor Muhammad Abdul Rahman.
Talks during the meeting dealt with adapting laws, and enhancing coordination and communication between the ministry and commercial and industrial activities, especially decisions and standards related to the production sector.
Al-Shaar inspects Bab al-Hawa Industrial City and Maaret al-Numan industrial project
Al-Shaar reviewed, during his tour, the current situation of the Bab al-Hawa Industrial City and its key needs, reaffirming the ministry’s commitment to supporting industrial zones, strengthening production capabilities, and providing a favorable environment to boost the industrial sector’s contribution to economic development.
The minister and the accompanying delegation also inspected the site designated for the Maaret al-Numan Industrial City and reviewed the proposed master plans ahead of the planned foundation stone ceremony in the coming period.
The new industrial city is a development initiative aimed at attracting industrial investment, establishing integrated infrastructure to support production, creating new employment opportunities, and stimulating economic activity in Idlib province.
The visit and meetings were attended by Idlib Governor Mohammad Abdul Rahman, Deputy Minister Basel Abdul Hanan, President of the Federation of Syrian Chambers of Commerce Alaa al-Ali, and a number of traders and industrialists.
