Damascus, June 23 (SANA) President Ahmad al-Sharaa received a delegation from the American energy company Chevron Corporation on Tuesday at the People’s Palace in Damascus to explore prospective investment opportunities and infrastructure development in the country’s energy sector.
The visiting delegation was led by Frank Mount, President of Corporate Business Development at Chevron. The high-level economic meeting convened in the presence of Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Asaad Hassan al-Shaibani, Minister of Energy Mohammad al-Bashir, and Youssef Qablawi, the CEO of the Syrian Petroleum Company (SPC).
