Dubai, Jan. 29 (SANA) -Syrian and Saudi officials held talks in Dubai on ways to strengthen cooperation in export development and exchange expertise, with the aim of supporting national companies and expanding their access to regional and international markets.
The discussions brought together a delegation from Syria’s Export and Production Support and Development Authority and representatives of the Saudi Export Development Authority. The meeting was held on the sidelines of the Gulfood 2026 exhibition.
According to officials, the talks focused on mechanisms for joint cooperation, identifying new opportunities to enhance bilateral exports, and advancing strategic partnerships between the two countries.
Both sides stressed the importance of continued coordination and the implementation of initiatives that support export growth and improve the competitiveness of products in global markets, as part of broader efforts to strengthen economic ties.
Syria is participating in Gulfood 2026 with 39 companies from the food industry sector, with the aim of building new partnerships and expanding regional and global exports.
