New York, Sept. 24 (SANA) President Ahmad al-Sharaa held talks on Wednesday with Kuwait’s Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah in New York, in the presence of Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Asaad al-Shaibani, on the sidelines of the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly.
The two sides discussed bilateral relations between Syria and Kuwait and ways to enhance them, as well as exchanged views on a number of regional and international issues of mutual interest.
The high-level meetings and general debate of the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly began on Tuesday in New York, with Syria participating, and are scheduled to continue until Sept. 28, according to the UN’s official program.
