Kuwait, Dec. 15 (SANA) Syria’s Minister of Energy, Mohammad al-Bashir, met with Abdallah al-Mutairi, Chief Executive Officer of Kuwait’s “EnerTech” company , on Monday in Kuwait to discuss cooperation and investment opportunities in Syria’s energy sector, as well as ways to strengthen the partnership between the two countries.
The two officials reviewed available investment opportunities in oil, gas, electricity, and renewable energy, along with the investment environment and measures to encourage Arab investments and provide the necessary facilities.
Minister al-Bashir reaffirmed Syria’s commitment to attracting Arab investments and strengthening economic cooperation for mutual benefit. He emphasized the significant role of Arab investment institutions in supporting reconstruction and development projects.
In turn, al-Mutairi expressed the company’s interest in following up on the proposed opportunities and exploring potential areas of cooperation that could strengthen economic relations between the two countries.
