Riyadh, April 14 (SANA) – The Saudi Cabinet, chaired by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud, approved Tuesday a memorandum of understanding with Syria to enhance cooperation in the field of civil aviation.
According to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the agreement was signed between the General Authority of Civil Aviation in Saudi Arabia and its Syrian counterpart, as part of efforts to strengthen cooperation in air transport.
The Cabinet also approved similar agreements with several countries, including China, Georgia, Liberia, Seychelles and the Union of the Comoros, reflecting a broader push to expand international aviation partnerships.
In a separate context, the Cabinet praised the recovery of energy production facilities affected by attacks amid ongoing regional tensions, noting that the rapid restoration supports global energy supply stability.
It also reaffirmed Saudi Arabia’s rejection of violations of state sovereignty and condemned drone attacks targeting the Kingdom and Gulf countries, stressing the need for regional stability and coordinated efforts to de-escalate tensions.
