Ghraywati: Damascus International Fair reflects world's confidence in Syrian economy

Damascus Countryside, SANA-Issam Ghraywati, Head of the Damascus Chamber of Commerce, affirmed that the Damascus International Fair is a prominent economic and commercial event that restores Syria’s presence on the international stage, serving as a platform to strengthen trade relations and build genuine partnerships with various countries around the world.

Ghraywati stated to SANA that the fair, which was established in 1954, returns today in a renewed form with broad participation from local and foreign companies, reflecting growing confidence in the Syrian economy and its ability to attract investments.

“We witnessed remarkable participation from Algeria, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, and Pakistan, along with extensive participation from Syrian companies showcasing their products and investment opportunities, especially in the fields of reconstruction and building materials.” Head of the Damascus Chamber of Commerce added.

Ghraywati pointed out that the signing of new cooperation agreements reflects the growing role of the fair as a bridge for economic and commercial communication between Syria and various countries.
