Tartous, May 7 (SANA) Baraeim Choir, led by Abdul Hamid Hassan and joined by a group of children and musicians, performed a musical evening on Wednesday at the Arab Cultural Center in Tartous as part of Community Culture Week activities.
The concert featured a selection of musical pieces and traditional songs that created a lively and cheerful atmosphere for the audience.
Khuloud Hassan, director of Baraeim Choir, told SANA that the group aims to support and nurture children’s talents by encouraging them to express themselves through music and performance.
She stressed the importance of discovering and developing children’s artistic abilities to help them build confidence and creativity.
The participating children and musicians, aged between 5 and 25, said music had given them a way to express their feelings and communicate through what they described as a universal language that transcends time and place.
The concert was held as part of Community Culture Week, which aims to support artistic talent and promote cultural activities in Tartous Governorate.
