Lattakia, SANA – The Russian sappers have demined more hectares in Aleppo city of mines and explosives planted by terrorists in the eastern neighborhoods before they had been expelled out of it.
Hmeimim-based Russian Coordination Center said in a statement that the Russian sappers are going ahead in demining the explosives and mines from the buildings, streets and social centers in the eastern neighborhoods of Aleppo city.
“The sappers defused mines from 58 buildings and 15 kilo meters from the streets during the past 24 hours to be added to other mines defused from 63 houses and 6 mosques in the eastern neighborhoods and 406 explosives earlier,” the center added.
It pointed out that humanitarian aid was provided to more than 4300 civilians from the neighborhoods of al-Sakhour, al-Meridian and al-Sheikh Maqsoud during the past 24 hours.
