Provinces, SANA – The terrorist organizations continue to lose more of their members and equipment in the course of the Syrian army operations targeting their positions all across the country.
Aleppo
The army units defending the Air Force Academy in the eastern countryside of Aleppo repelled massive ISIS attack from the southeastern direction, inflicting heavy losses upon the terrorists and destroying a number of their vehicles and weaponry.
Later a military source said that army units, in cooperation with allied forces, thwarted a large attack launched by the terrorists of Jabhat al-Nusra and other terrorist groups affiliated to it on several axes towards the south and southwest of Aleppo.
The source pointed out that the attack synchronized with ISIS attack in the direction of the Air Force Academy, adding that army units confronted the attack, killed tens of terrorists, injured many others and destroyed booby-trapped vehicles, two tanks and a large number of armored vehicles, some equipped with machineguns.
Many terrorists were killed as the Syrian Air Force hit their gatherings and hideouts in al-Mansoura and Abu Shailam villages in the western countryside of Aleppo.
Army air strikes also hit terrorists’ positions in Khan Touman and Tallet Bazo (hill) in southwestern Aleppo, destroying a number of armored vehicles and cars equipped with machine guns and a number of cannons, in addition to leaving many terrorists dead or wounded.
Hama
The Syrian Air Force targeted and destroyed a number of tanks and scores of vehicles for the terrorist groups in Tibet al-Imam, Morek, al-Latamina and al-Masasina in the northern countryside of Hama, leaving many terrorists, mostly from Jabhat al-Nusra, dead or injured, a military source said on Friday.
Later, a military source said that an army unit, with artillery support, thwarted an infiltration attempt by a terrorist group from Jabhat al-Nusra in the direction of military position in the villas area on the Salamiya-Homs road, eliminating most members of the attacking group.
Lattakia
The Syrian Air Force destroyed armored cars and vehicles with machine guns and mortar launchers mounted on them belonging to the terrorist organizations in Um al-Ghar, Qarfous, Baarbaya and Kinda in the northeastern countryside of Lattakia.
Idleb
Many terrorists were killed and their vehicles were destroyed in army strikes on their gatherings in Khan Shaikhoun, Sarja, Maartamsarin, al-Bara and Hish in the countryside of Idleb province.
Daraa
Army units killed or injured many of the terrorists and destroyed their weapons to the west of Saida Prison and to the east of al-Naima town in the eastern countryside of Daraa province.
In the western countryside of the province, army units destroyed gatherings and vehicles of Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists to the southwest of Daraa Dam and Tal Shihab.
Another army unit killed a number of terrorists including the terrorist Ahmad Naeem al-Masri and destroyed their fortifications in Daraa al-Balad area.
An army unit destroyed a command center for Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists, killing all those inside it, in Sweidan quarter in Daraa al-Balad area.
Quneitra
An army unit killed all members of a terrorist group while it was attempting to infiltrate towards one of the military points to the east of Tranja village in the northern countryside of Quneitra.
Homs
The Army and Armed Forces targeted with concentrated fire movements of terrorists in al-Sa’an al-Aswad village in the northern countryside of Homs province.
SANA reporter in Homs said an army unit eliminated a number of terrorists from Jabhat al-Nusra and Ahrar al-Cham Movement after targeting their movements and concentrations in al-Sa’an al-Aswad village, destroying their weapons and fortifications.
Mohammad Ayoub aka “al-Weresh,” Nader Suwais, Aboud al-Shanour, Rabe’a al-Zoubi, Ghassan al-Hamwi, Akram al-Masri, Mohammad Jamal al-Sheikh, Adnan al-Hamwi, Hasan al-Abdo, Osama al-Najjar, and Tarek Khalil were identified among the dead terrorists.
