Bratislava, SANA – Members of the Syrian and Arab communities in Slovakia and representatives of Slovakian parties staged a protest in front of the US Embassy in Bratislava to condemn the attack of the US-led coalition’s warplanes on a position for the Syrian army in Deir Ezzor.
A number of Arab, foreign and Slovakian citizens and members of the Communist Party of Slovakia took part in the protest, which was organized by the National Union for Syrian Students-Slovakia Branch.
Former Slovak Prime Minister Yan Carnogursky said the United States and NATO shoulder the responsibility for the crises, destruction and wars in Syria, Iraq, Yemen and other countries due to their intervention policy in those countries’ affaires and their support for the terrorist organizations there.
He called on the international community to put an end to those destructive policies and to take deterrent measures to prevent them.
