Damascus, SANA-Units of the army and armed forces celebrated on Monday the 71st anniversary of the army’s foundation.
Commanders of the military units delivered speeches on this occasion, affirming that the army will remain the hope for all Syrians against any dangers to achieve the aspired-for goals in liberating the occupied lands and restore the usurped rights.
The commanders reviewed the wars carried out by the army soldiers and their sacrifices for the sake of homeland, stressing that Syria will return stronger than before after defeating the terrorist organizations.
On this occasion, many military and sport shows were held and commanders of the army visited the martyrs’ tombs and laid wreaths on the monuments.
