Damascus, SANA – The temperatures will slightly drop but remain above average as the country is affected by the seasonal Indian low air pressure accompanied by southwestern air currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
The Meteorology Department expected in its Thursday bulletin that the weather will be relatively hot with clear skies in general and it is going to be misty and hot in the eastern, al- Jazira and al-Badiya (desert) areas.
The winds will be westerly to northwesterly of light to moderate speed and the sea waves will be low in amplitude.
The expected temperatures in some major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 38/21, Daraa 35/19, Hama 35/21, Homs 32/20, Lattakia 30/24, Aleppo 40/21 and Deir Ezzor 43/24.
