Terrorists breach cessation of hostilities agreement four more times

Lattakia, SANA – The Russian Coordination Center observed four breaches of the cessation of hostilities agreement by terrorist groups during the past 24 hours.

The Russian center, based in Hmeimim airbase, said in a statement that terrorists of “Jaish al-Islam” targeted with hand-made shells al-Zahraa neighborhood in Aleppo city, in addition to firing mortar and rocket shells several residential neighborhoods in Aleppo, Lattakia and Idleb provinces.

It pointed out in its statement that Jabhat al-Nusra and ISIS terrorists continued attempts to undermine the cessation of hostilities agreement, highlighting that despite of these violations, the agreement is still holding in most Syrian provinces.

There were no new agreements reached with any more towns during the past 24 hours, where the the total number of cities and towns that are part of the cessation of hostilities agreement remained 177, according to the center.

With yesterday’s incidents, the total number of terrorists’ breaches rose to 762 since the agreement came into effect on 27 February.
