Washington, SANA – U.S. Air Forces Central Command announced on Tuesday that an MQ-9 Reaper remotely piloted aircraft crashed in northern Syria.

The Command was careful in its statement to deny that the aircraft might have been shot down, saying operators lost control of the aircraft.
