Monday weather forecast: Temperatures to rise, skies partly cloudy

Damascus, SANA- The temperatures will continue to gradually rise to become around average as the country is being affected by a superficial low air pressure accompanied by northwestern air currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.

The Meteorology Department expected in its Monday bulletin that the weather will be moderate as the skies will be clear to partly cloudy in general while the weather will be misty in the eastern and al-Badyia “desert” areas.

The wind will be westerly to northwesterly with a light to moderate speed and the sea waves will be medium in height.

Tomorrow, the temperatures will continue to rise to become around average in most areas and the skies will be clear in general with some scattered clouds while the weather will be misty in the eastern, al-Jazeera and al-Badyia areas.

The expected temperatures in the major Syria cities will be as follows: Damascus 28/15, Daraa 28/15, Homs 29/16, Lattakia 25/20, Aleppo 28/15 and Deir Ezzor 32/17.
