mark the start of work to rebuild the archeological city of Palmyra.

We are here to launch the necessary measures taken by UNESCO for the restoration of Palmyra in order to find the world’s identity, memory and

history that terrorism is trying to destroy, Tanaskovic explained, noting that “Palmyra suffered massive destruction, but we have an important opportunity to restore it to return to its former state and this is the essence of our mission now.

He pointed out that the representatives at UNESCO and the reporters will work as a team to restore the archaeological sites not only in Palmyra but

in all places that suffered damage.
