Damascus, SANA – Temperatures remain 3 to 5 degrees above average as the country is affected by low air pressure accompanied with southwestern currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
The Meteorology Department expected in its Wednesday bulletin that the skies will be clear to partly cloudy in general and the weather will be warm in general and misty in the eastern and al-Badiya areas as local rain showers are also expected.
The winds will be southeasterly and westerly of light to moderate speed, and the sea waves will be low in amplitude.
The expected temperatures in the major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 27/12, Daraa 27/12, Homs 26/09, Hama 27/10, Hasaka 27/11, Lattakia 23/13, Aleppo 25/10 and Deir-Ezzor 27/12.
