Damascus, SANA- The Central Bank of Syria (CBS) on Monday set the exchange rate of the USD at SYP 346.69 for banks, SYP 346.72 for currency exchange companies and SYP 345 for transfers.
The CBS also set the exchange rate of EUR at SYP 367.23 for banks, 369.27 for currency exchange companies and 365.25 for transfers.
On Sunday, CBS Governor Adib Mayaleh affirmed during an intervention session for selling a quantity of USD to exchange companies at SYP 354 against 1 dollar that the CBS is ready to meet the market needs of foreign currency with no restrictions or limits.
