Russia strongly condemns terrorist explosions in al-Hasaka

Moscow, SANA-Moscow condemned on Tuesday the terrorist acts being perpetrated by armed terrorist organizations, including the explosions carried out by the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS) terrorist organization in al-Hasaka.

“Syria has witnessed recently a sharp escalation in the terrorist activities perpetrated by ISIS which carried out three suicide attacks with car bombs on September 14th and 15th in the Syrian city of al-Hasaka,” Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement.

“The blind spite of those bloody crimes are represented, in particular, by a fact that they have been done at the start of new educational year in Syria where thousands of  educational institutions have opened doors in front of students,” the statement added.

The Russian Foreign Ministry renewed its strong condemnation of the bloody atrocities perpetrated by ISIS and other terrorist organizations, saying “The challenge represented by terrorists in Syria requires an active, collective response according to rules of the international law.”

33 civilians were killed; more than 110 others were wounded over the past two days due to terrorist explosions with car bombs in a number of neighborhoods in al-Hasaka.
