Two Car bombs loaded with 400 kg of explosives dismantled in Lattakia

Lattakia, SANA- Competent authorities in the coastal city of Lattakia dismantled on Tuesday two car bombs loaded with a huge amount of high explosives.

A source in Lattakia told SANA reporter that the two car bombs were seized at the entrance of the city while the terrorists were trying to enter the city.

The engineering units, according to the source, invalidated successfully the effect of the explosives planted in the cars, pointing out that the explosives are made of materials of high effectiveness weighing about 400 kg in addition to an explosive belt and a number of bombs.

The source asserted that the authorities concerned arrested a number of the terrorist group’s members.
