Provinces, SANA – Increasing numbers of terrorists were killed and several of their vehicles were destroyed in continued operations carried out by the army units against their positions in various areas involving airstrikes.
Lattakia
More than 70 terrorists killed, 40 injured
The Syrian Arab Army’s Air Force carried out concentrated airstrikes on hideouts and concentrations of Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists in the areas of Rwaiset al-Mallouha, Ketf al-Hariq, Jeb al-Ahmar, al-Samkufeh, and al-Markashliye in Lattakia province’s northern countryside.
According to a military source, more than 70 terrorists were killed, 40 were injured, and their weapons and equipment were destroyed in the airstrikes, adding that among the a Saudi terrorist from Jabhat al-Nusra nicknamed “Naim” was among those who were killed.
The Air Force also targeted terrorists’ hideouts and concentrations in Dweir al-Akrad, Akko, and Kabbaneh, killing and injuring a number of terrorists and destroying their vehicles.
Terrorists’ social media pages acknowledged the heavy losses they sustained, and published the names of some of their injured members who included Ali al-Haddad and Maher Fahed, who is a leader of one of the terrorist groups, with the pages saying that the injured were transported across the borders to Turkish hospitals.
Idleb
The army’s air force targeted gatherings of terrorists in Abu al-Duhour town, about 50 km southeast of Idleb city in northwestern Syria, killing a number of terrorists linked to the so-called “Jaish al-Fateh”, according to a military source.
A number of the terrorists’ vehicles were destroyed, the source told SANA.
Many terrorists were killed in army airstrikes in Ihsem and to the north of Maatram in the southwestern countryside of the province.
The source added that the army inflicted heavy losses upon terrorists of “Jaish al-Fateh” and Jabhat al-Nusra as its air force targeted their hideouts and positions in Qarqour in southern Jisr al-Shughour.
Daraa, Sweida
A unit of the army, in cooperation with popular defense groups, targeted dens of ISIS terrorists in Abar al-Rashid compound to the east of al-Sweida.
During the operations, the army killed a number of the terrorists and destroyed their vehicles, some of them equipped with heavy machine guns.
Later, the army killed and injured several terrorists in the surrounding of Tal al-Buthaina in al-Sweida north-eastern country.
In Daraa north-eastern countryside, the army killed 6 terrorists in a special operation against dens of the terrorist organizations in Tal al-Sheikh Hussein.
Another army unit eliminated all members of a terrorist group and destroyed their vehicles to the south of Khirbat Ghazaleh in Daraa north-eastern countryside.
In Daraa al-Balad, the army destroyed a car equipped with a heavy machinegun and eliminated a number of terrorists to the north of electricity station.
Quneitra
The army units destroyed a bulldozer and hideouts for terrorists in the villages of Bir Ajam, al-Hamidiyeh and Jabata al-Khashab in the countryside of the southern Quneitra province.
Homs
Army units in cooperation with locals clashed with ISIS terrorists who infiltrated from Rajm al-Qassr and Rajm al-Ali villages towards the area surrounding Um Jamia village in al-Mokhram area in Homs central province.
The clashes resulted in the death of many terrorists and injured many others while dozens of them fled under the army’s strikes.
An army unit confronted terrorists of ISIS who sneaked from Unk al-Hawa village towards Maksar al-Hssan in Jub al-Jarrah to the east of Homs city, killing many terrorists and destroying their weapons and ammo.
Vehicles for ISIS terrorists were destroyed in army air strikes to the east of Jazal oil field and to the north of al-Qaryatain village in the countryside of Homs.
Army units targeted ISIS’ dens and gatherings in the area surrounding Palmyra city, Tafha and al-Mshirfa al-Janobia villages in the western countryside of Homs.
Many vehicles, weapons and ammunitionwere destroyed and many terrorists were killed during the strikes.
The Army also destroyed 3 vehicles belonging to ISIS and killed many of its members while they were moving from the area surrounding Wadi Abyad Dam, Wadi al-Zaka towards Palmyra.
In the northern countryside of Homs, an army unit targeted terrorists’ hideout in Um Sharshoh village, killing many terrorists who were inside it.
Military units in charge of protecting al-Rastan dam eliminated a number of terrorists and injured many others who tried to attack the dam.
Many terrorists were killed and others injured during an army operation against their dens in Hwash al-Zabadi in al-Rastan.
Another army unit clashed with a terrorist group which attacked the families of Kurmus village in al-Houla area in the northern countryside of Homs, killing many of its members, injuring others and destroying all their weapons.
Hama
Army units supported by the Air Force destroyed dens and vehicles for Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists and the so-called Jaish al-Fateh organization in the northern countryside of Hama.
A military source told SANA that the Army Air Force launched strikes against gatherings and axes of movements of terrorist organizations in al-Msheik and Qastoun villages in the northern countryside of Hama, killing a number of terrorists and injuring others.
Army units destroyed vehicles for Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists and other terrorist organizations and killed a number of their members in villages and towns of al-Ankawi, Tal Waset , al-Mansoura, Tal Zajram, al-Ziyara and south of al-Hakoura.
Another army unit killed a number of terrorists, injured others and destroyed vehicles equipped with machine guns and amounts of arms in al-Lattamneh in the northern countryside of Hama.
Meanwhile, field sources told SANA reporter that army units supported by air force destroyed hideouts of terrorists in al-Ghab plain, killing a number of terrorists including Moroccans.
Terrorist Ahmad Zeidan, one of the leaders of the so-called al-Ghab Hawks gathering was killed along with other terrorists.
Terrorist organizations acknowledged on their social media pages that the so-called leader of al-Ghab Hawks gathering, Jamil Ra’adoun was killed in car bomb inside the Turkish territories.
The so-called al-Ghab Hawks gathering is one of the most dangerous Takfiri factions that are supported and armed by Turkish regime.
Aleppo
Units of the army killed a number of the so-called “al-Jabha al-Shamiya”, “Ahrar al-Cham” and Jabhat al-Nusra and destroyed their vehicles in Tal Mseibin and al-Malah farms in Aleppo northern countryside.
In al-Bab town to the north of Aleppo, the army destroyed some vehicles equipped with machineguns, killing a number of terrorists.
A unit of the army also killed a number of terrorists and injured many others in Khan al-Assal village.
