Martyrs’ monument inaugurated in al-Hisn town in Homs

Homs, SANA-Families of al-Hisn town in the central city of Homs inaugurated on Monday the Martyrs’ monument in commemoration of the martyr pure soul and in honor of the Syrian army’s martyrs.  The monument bears the names of the martyrs in the town.

Homs governor, Talal al-Barazi said the event comes to commemorate al-Hisn city martyrs who offered their lives in defending Syria, adding “The victories achieved in al-Hisn and other regions in Homs have helped return security and normal life to the city.”

For their part, families of the town expressed pride in their martyrs, appreciating the government step to “make their sons immortal and document their names,” having the new generations know that there were people who offered their blood for the sake of Homeland.

Later, the Governor opened a medical point in al-Hisn town where Dr. Mu’taz al-Atasi, head of the Syrian Red Crescent affirmed that this point will offer the needed first aid and medial emergent services to the families.

More than 200 families have returned to al-Hisn town after cleaning it from the Takfiri terrorism.
