1810- Independence of Argentina announced.

1909 – French forces occupy south Morocco.

1942-Germany attacks Stalingrad and Caucasus during the World War II.

1963 – The Organization of African Unity (OAU) established by representatives of 30 African countries in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.

2000 – Israeli occupation forces withdraw from south Lebanon due to the victories achieved by the Lebanese national resistance.
