PM and Boroujerdi discuss mechanisms of boosting economic cooperation

Damascus, SANA- Prime Minister Wael al-Halaqi stressed Thursday the Syrian government’s keenness that Iranian companies participate in the rebuilding stage in Syria, enhancing Syrian-Iranian economic, industrial, commercial, medical and media cooperation and establishing joint development projects, particularly the electricity generation plants, hospitals, wheat cells and mills.

Syria and Iran constitute a strategic depth for each other and an axis of steadfastness and resistance in the face of the Zio-American schemes against the region, al-Halaqi said during a meeting with Chairman of the Iranian Shura Council’s Committee for Foreign Policy and National Security Alaeddin Boroujerdi, who is on a visit to Syria.
